=====Travelling Exhibit

October - North Haven Library
The Traveling Exhibit will be coming to the January Guild Meeting. It is looking a little shop-worn and needs some major updating! Please contribute something new to display in the exhibit for as long as you are willing to part with it. I'm especially looking for items that will showcase how everyone's talents have developed. Our guild members are doing such wonderful and advanced work now; let's show it off to the community! Thanks to everyone for their participation. Wendy Oestreicher

We would like to take this opportunity to tell you about WOW--a week of workshops for polymer and cloth doll artists--to be held in Fishkill, NY May 13-19, 2008. This is all possible through the kindness and generosity of Joyce Mikos, who with her sister Janet, started WOW in Concord, NH. We would appreciate if you would disseminate this information to your members. We are very hopeful this will become an annual event, but a successful first year is needed to ensure this. The web site www.thenewyorkwow.com has all the information on workshops, faculty, site, hotel accommodations, etc. Please do not hesitate to contact us for additional information. 08/18/07
Meeting called to order at @ 11:49 am
12 members in attendance.
Demo on Beaded Bezels by Holly.

Sept 8th is the final cutoff for bringing in your beads for the bead bazaar, preferably in a plastic see-thru box with your name clearly labelled on it.

Libby had made a suggestion to make promotional postcards, and Sharon created them. They will be handed out or sent to anyone who might be interested.

Rings N Things will be having a bead show in the same place on the following weekend.

Apply by Nov 16th if you are interested in entering the Holiday Handcraft Boutique in Milford - Dec 7-16. Call 203-878-6647 or email milfordfac@optonline.net for information.

The guild library is large and heavy - it's hard to bring it all in at once. Send an email to Sue to request whatever you're interested in and she'll bring it to the next meeting.

Bring 3-5 pieces of your best work to the September meeting so we can plan the exhibit for the anniversary open house.
