=====Classes

Diane Villano will be conducting a Bottles of Hope workshop at Michael's Crafts Store in North Haven, CT, September 18, 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Clay and small glass bottles are included. I'm asking my students to create at least two bottles, one to take home and one for me to donate to local treatment centers. Cost is $20.00.

Lynne Schwarzenberg will be teaching a one day intensive class on making TILE BRACELETS in Bridgeport, CT at the Bishop Curtis Home on October 22. The class will run from 10 to 6 pm, with extra time for finishing up afterwards if you need it. The cost is $75.00, and an email will follow soon. Space is limited to 20. Please contact Lynne to reserve a space at riverpoet@adelphia.net

=====Bead Bazaar

At this writing, I don’t have the sales books in front of me, but a rough number on sales for the Bead Bazaar is about $800. This is disappointing, since last year we did over $1400 in sales. Attendance was down, gas prices were up, and there were other bead shows happening that weekend which contributed. Otherwise, the sale went great. Our booth looked better than ever with the new lights, and the constantly improving and evolving work of our members!

I will have final sales counts done so that everyone can get their checks by the October meeting, sooner if we end up mailing them out. I’ll be in touch via email with y’all. I hope you have a great meeting, I will miss y’all. --Lynne
