Kato group clay order will be delivered at the meeting. Liquid clay and single sheet 400 grit sandpaper are on backorder. Lynne will collect shipping fees.

Lynne has won 1st place in the Bead and Button Bead Dreams show in Milwaukee with her “Swallowtail Paradise” tile bead set.
Lynne and Jana’s collaborative work also took first place this month in the Polymer Clay Central Challenge
MINUTES FROM THE MAY 2006 MTG OF SCPCG

Meeting called to order at 11:46 am
17 members in attendance.
Demo by Christy on Making Molds.
The meetings will be at the Beachhouse until December.
Massachusetts is planning the next Klay Karma retreat in Nashua (with air
conditioning).
Clay Connection
We're looking for a massage therapist.
Attendees will have to write a $25 deposit check for room key cards.
Tracy is thinking of using a leaf design for nametags.
Hospitality can get in to do the rooms on the night before.
Friday night icebreaker - Terry offered to help Lisa
The Saturday night slideshow will be "Illuminating a Medium"
Sharon and Libby have slide trays. Libby has a projector.
Bead Strand - each participant gets 1 ticket and the drawing will be during
the BOH judging.
Loreen will be running a cane swap. The canes will be chosen Saturday night.
A good time was had at the Newton Clay Day. 95 BOH were made.
Tracy has gotten several emails on Bottles of Hope, one from a Norwalk
Oncology nurse who expressed her thanks and mentioned how much the patients
appreciate it. An Ohio hospital has started a program. A youth leader in
Montana is leading a workshop for children.
Gerri provided the raffle item.
Polyform is looking for a demoer in RI and Norwalk. Contact Dianne for info.
Polymer Café has a bulk renewal rate for the guild and will be having a self portrait challenge.

Toni went to Polydelphia and described it. It was a 2 day informal retreat with a lot of vendors and about 60 people. There were demos and very good grab bags.
