Parking at the lot in East Haven is no longer free and open to all.
We will need to display a parking pass to use the lot. Passes will be given out just before /at the meeting and will need to be returned after the meeting.

The CT Bead Society's 11th Annual Bead Bazaar - Sept 13 & 14 10-5pm both days(a href="http://ctbeadsociety.org">CT Bead Society).
At the Holiday Inn 201 Washington Ave (RT 5) North Haven, exit 12 off I-91
The guild will have 2 tables to sell beads and finished jewelry made by our members. Beads are due to Diane Villano at the August meeting or later if arrangements are made with her.
We will set up the display Friday evening before the show and need volunteers to help man the tables. Commission will be 20%, reduced to 10% if you help with selling.
The advertising was sparse the past few years. Last year Sharon sent out emails to different newspapers to spread the word. We also sent out postcards. If you have ideas on how to promote the Bead Bazaar, please let us know.
The Southern Connecticut Polymer Clay Guild will be hosting A Clay Day at St Paul's in Wallingford on Saturday August 9th. We will be claying from 9:30am until 6-ish. We will have plenty of room, so guests are welcome.
If you can't make it at 9:30 am, stop by when you can.
We can work on Bottles of Hope, beads for the Bead Bazaar in Sept and whatever else.....
There are plenty of restaurants nearby and we have a full kitchen available if you want to bring food (for yourself or to share).

There have been some changes made to the Polymer Café (magazine). There is a new editor and the articles/techniques are more sophisticated. They are looking for new techniques and will help anyone with putting together an article.
Diane Villano iwill be conducting polymer clay jewelry classes at the Jo-Ann's Superstore in Hamden starting this summer. The first class is "Citrus Flip-Flop Beads", Saturday August 23 and 30, 9:30-11:30
