Welcome

The Southern Connecticut Polymer Clay Guild exists to share the experience of learning about polymer clay and to explore its possibilities.

And, you know what, we just like to play with clay!!!

Who We Are

We are a group of polymer clay enthusiasts, with varied backgrounds and skill levels. We meet to share ideas, techniques and to encourage and learn from each other. Our first meeting was in September, 1997 with 13 people and we've been growing ever since. We have members from Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey as well as all around Connecticut. You can see some of our work in the gallery.

Where We Meet

We have the following sites reserved for our 2008 upcoming monthly meetings (11:00-2:00).
April 19 - Hagaman Memorial Library, 227 Main Street, East Haven
All other meetings - The Beachhouse, Cosey Beach Avenue, East Haven
(All are 3rd Saturdays except Sept and Dec which are 2nd Sats.
Sept 3rd Sat is the Bead Bazaar and Dec is our usual Tag Sale and Pot Luck Luncheon)

What We Do

Guild activities include a traveling exhibit, Bottles of Hope, bead strands, swaps, raffles, Clay Days, and retreats. Guild meetings incorporate demonstrations of techniques by our members and show-and-tell.

Further Information

Dues are $15 for the calendar year. Additionally, the donation of two similar beads of your own creation for the Guild's two bead strands is not a requirement, but strongly encouraged. You are most welcome to attend one meeting before deciding to join the Guild.
